Marcarson is a New York-based multidisciplinary artist and the founder of NOT FOR THEM, his independent creative outlet. Originally from Los Angeles, he works across painting, works on paper, photography, sculpture, and installation. NOT FOR THEM gives his artwork, objects, exhibitions, and collaborations a place to take shape on his own terms.

Since 2017, he has contributed interviews and photo essays to Whitehot Magazine. Selected projects include Entitled Series (2018–2020) and Negro Humour Always Escaped Me (2026).
